With Dawaco Phrea™ your own database is the source and the Dutch Key Register of the Subsurface (BRO) is the output. You register, deliver, retrieve, compare and correct from the same records you use to manage your monitoring network.
Two directions
One set of records, from registration to re-delivery
In Phrea your own records stay in charge. Your wells, their history and your measurement series live in your database, and everything reaches the BRO from there. Nothing is retyped, nothing is kept twice, and the full history of your wells stays with you.
It works the other way round too. Whatever is already in the BRO, you retrieve and bring together with your own wells. You see what matches and what does not, and take over only what you choose. Nothing is written without your approval.

A registration is not the end of the story
Wells change, and sometimes a recorded value turns out to be wrong. Phrea keeps your BRO registration in line with your own records.

You correct your own data, and Phrea delivers the correction in the way the BRO allows. No forms, no second place to update.

Whatever happens to a well after registration reaches the BRO the way the BRO expects it.
Nothing forgotten after delivery
If someone edits data after it has been delivered, you see it straight away in Phrea. No lists to keep, and nothing left behind.

Checked before it leaves
A rejected delivery costs time. So Phrea checks your documents before they leave, and follows every delivery until the BRO confirms it.
Whatever does not pass the check is held back with an explanation, so you know what to adjust. If the BRO still rejects something, you see its message, correct your own data and deliver again.

Province of Fryslân: almost the complete history in the BRO
In 2019 the Province of Fryslân started a BRO pilot with Dawaco. Wells (GMW), corrections and groundwater levels (GLD) were delivered: more than 180,000 messages to the national registry. As a result, virtually the complete history of the network is in the BRO.
That was done with the previous generation of Dawaco software. What we learned in those years about corrections, history and rejected deliveries is now built into Phrea.
Phrea itself has been put to the test too: the entire BRO delivery cycle, from registration and deliveries to corrections and additions, has been proven in practice with real customer data.

About the BRO chain in Phrea
Which BRO objects can I deliver?
All five objects for groundwater monitoring: GMW, GLD, GMN, GAR and FRD. GMW and GLD are standard; GMN, GAR and FRD are available as an add-on module.
Do I have to export my data first?
No. What you deliver comes straight from your own database. There is no separate upload file and no second set of records.
What happens if I change something after a delivery?
Phrea shows you which wells or surveys need to be delivered again. You do not have to keep track of it yourself.
Can I retrieve data that is already in the BRO?
Yes. Whatever is already in the BRO, you retrieve and bring together with your own wells. You see the differences and take over only what you choose.
What if the BRO rejects a delivery?
You see the status of every delivery and, for a rejection, the BRO’s message. You correct your own data and deliver again. Because Phrea checks first, you catch many problems before anything is sent.
