Groundwater and ecology, in good hands. Dawaco: groundwater and ecology software, from people who know the field. Below ground, loggers measure day and night. Then come field rounds and lab samples, and everything often ends up in separate files. That costs time. And the BRO won't wait.

Meet Dawaco Phrea™: one web-based platform. Built on thirty years of domain knowledge, in the cloud or on your own server.

For each monitoring point you see where your data stands: provisional first, final in the BRO after validation. Every correction gets a reason: the spike goes, but the raw measurement is kept.

Change something locally, and Dawaco Phrea itself flags what must go back to the BRO.

All results side by side, tested against statutory standards. An exceedance stands out at once, and the Piper diagram shows the water type.

Time-series modelling (module): Pastas explains your groundwater level and looks ahead. For everyone coming from Menyanthes: Pastas with a map and a complete interface, and no programming.

AI assistant (module): Ask it the way you would ask a colleague. Every answer names its source and the caveats.

A comparison report shows what came across, and what did not and why. One system for your entire monitoring network, with your data in the EU.

Dawaco Phrea: groundwater intelligence. Request a demo. Available from October 2026. www.dawaco.nl

From measurement to the Dutch subsurface registry (BRO), with validation, lab quality, time-series modelling and an AI assistant in between. One demo, one system, following the steps your team takes every week.

Request your demo

Tell us what kind of organisation you are and which parts you want to see first. We then shape the demo around your monitoring network and your questions, not around a standard presentation.

Which system do you use today?
What would you like to see in the demo?
For example: which BRO objects you deliver, which loggers you use, or the question you would put to the AI assistant.

What the demo covers

We follow one measurement through the whole system: from the logger in the monitoring well to the document in the registry. You watch the working software, not slides. How each step works, we show live and explain as we go.

  1. StepCollectLoggers, fieldwork, lab and import in one place
  2. StepValidateYour measurement stays yours, every correction with a reason
  3. StepQualityTested against the standards you choose
  4. StepModelTime-series analysis with Pastas, also if you come from Menyanthes
  5. StepAskAnswers from your own measurements, with a source
  6. StepDeliverBRO, both ways

In the BRO chain, GMW and GLD are standard; GMN, GAR and FRD are available as an add-on module.

Some functions are available as an add-on module.

For everyone who worked with Menyanthes

Time-series analysis with Pastas, with the map alongside

Worked with Menyanthes? In Phrea you build Pastas models with the mouse, on your own measurements, with the map alongside.

In the demo we build a model on example wells and discuss how this works for your network.

From Menyanthes to Phrea

Time-series modelling is available as a module.

Menyanthes and Pastas are named here descriptively. Dawaco is not affiliated with the makers or rights holders of Menyanthes, nor with the Pastas project.

Map, series and model side by side. No programming.

What you should expect from a modern groundwater platform

Bring this list to the demo, and to any other demo you see. We show every point in the software, not on a slide.

  • Your own records as the source, the BRO as an outputCompare your records with the BRO and decide what is right.
  • Your well history as the BRO expects itEvery document checked before it leaves.
  • Never track by hand what changed after deliveryWhat must go back to the BRO shows up by itself.
  • Your raw measurement always keptEvery correction has a reason and can always be undone.
  • Models on your own measurements, not on exportsA graphical workspace for Pastas, linked to your map.
  • An AI that computes on your data and cites its sourcesAnswers with a source and a caveat; the judgement stays with the hydrologist.

For existing customers

Do you work with Dawaco GW, Datalab or BROLab?

Dawaco Phrea™ is the successor to all three. In the demo we show where you will find the work you know, and what is added.

Want to see your own data in Phrea afterwards? That is the trial migration: your data is transferred automatically to a trial environment. Counted first, compared after: a comparison report shows what came across, and what did not and why. Only then follows one planned cutover. The same team, the same support.

FAQ

Questions about the demo

Which data will I see in the demo?

The demo runs on demonstration data from a fictitious water company, so we can show every part freely. You see your own data in the trial migration, with a comparison report that shows what came across, and what did not and why.

When is Dawaco Phrea™ available?

Dawaco Phrea™ is available from October 2026.

Does Phrea run in the cloud or on our own servers?

Either: as SaaS on Microsoft Azure in Europe, or on your own server. Your data stays in the EU. In the demo we explain what that means for your IT department.

Which BRO objects can I see?

Phrea supports GMW, GMN, GLD, GAR and FRD. GMW and GLD are standard; GMN, GAR and FRD are available as an add-on module. We show registering, delivering, comparing with the registry and correcting.

I worked with Menyanthes. What will I see in the demo?

Time-series analysis with Pastas in a graphical workspace, with the map alongside and no programming. We build a model on example wells and discuss your situation. Menyanthes models are not transferred automatically: you rebuild models in Phrea, on the series that are then already in Phrea. Time-series modelling is a module.

Does the AI assistant take over the hydrologist's work?

No. The assistant answers questions in plain language from your own measurements, with charts, maps, caveats and cited sources. It does not replace the hydrologist's judgement.

Can I request a demo for colleagues in other departments?

Yes. Use the form to tell us which parts matter to whom, for example BRO delivery, lab quality or security, and we will shape the demo around that.
